March 15, 2020 Dear Valued Clients & Contacts, KatzAbosch was notified on Saturday, March 14th by its Timonium office property management company that an employee of another building tenant has tested positive for COVID-19. The building property management took immediate action and has begun to disinfect the entire building. The cleaning plan has been approved by the Baltimore County Department of Health. The building is cleared to be used again this Monday. The safety of our employees and those we serve are our top priority. Out of an overabundance of caution, KatzAbosch has decided all Timonium office employees should work remotely this week. From Monday, March 16th to Monday, March 23rd the Timonium office personnel will be unavailable to assist you at that location. Our Bel Air and Columbia office locations remain open and operating as normal during this time. Importantly, at present, there are no cases of the virus reported among employees of KatzAbosch. For our clients and contacts, I want to assure you business will continue as usual to the very best of our ability. The only significant change is that we ask you not to visit our Timonium office location until further notification. If the Timonium location closure impacts you, we want to offer the following options to deliver documents to us during tax time: – Electronically. Please contact your KatzAbosch representative if you are not currently enrolled in any of our electronic file sharing systems and wish to do so. They will work with you to select the best electronic option for you. If you do not recall your KatzAbosch representative, please dial our main number: 410.828.2727 and we would be happy to connect you. – Mail or Stop By Another KatzAbosch Location. Our two other office locations (Bel Air and Columbia) are open and operating as normal for now. You are welcome to notify your KatzAbosch representative about redirecting your information to one of those locations. Please click on the most convenient office location to view their mailing and contact information: Bel Air Office / Columbia Office. – Personal Pick-up. If dropping off documents to the Timonium office is the only option available to you, please call our main number 410.828.2727, if you would like to arrange for a KatzAbsoch employee to pick-up documents from your location. In these uncertain times, we understand social distancing is important and will arrange to coordinate pick-up securely. We will remain available to you by proactively sharing information as it becomes available. This also includes KatzAbosch’s commitment to staying current with the Administration’s various proposals around a payroll tax cut or an extension of tax filing and payment deadlines out of consideration for the impact of COVID-19 on the economy and perceived risks associated with congregation in public. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and patience during this time. Please be healthy and safe. Sincerely, Mark Cissell President and CEO Katzabosch
