Description of Duties • Prepare tax returns for estate, trust and gift tax returns, (Forms 1041, 709, 706 and Met 1) ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations. • Respond to inquiries from the IRS. • Assist in the preparation of fiduciary accounting and schedules for estate administrations. • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates. • Participate in professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and skills. • Become proficient with firm software programs. Qualifications • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality. • Excellent communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and multitask while meeting deadlines.
